NTU Lindy Hop @ World Lindy Hop Day 2018

NTU Lindy Hoppers joined millions of Lindy Hoppers world-wide in our celebrations of the renowned Mr. Frankie Manning's birthday at our World Lindy Hop Day 2018 celebration in Singapore.

The club put up an awesome performance of a revamped edition of our JDC 2018 routine, dancing with great energy and enthusiasm on top of the tunes of "Booty Swing" by Parov Stelar and "Savoy" by the "Hot Sugar Band".

Besides social dancing with local and international dancers, one of our member proudly represented us in the Jack n' Jill competition. Boom, our incoming chairperson, with his passion for Lindy Hop had persuaded the judge and advance to the finals round, competing against some of the best dancers in the region. Despite not winning the championship, his spectacular performance in our first Jack n' Jill participation earned him much encouragement and applause from both local and international dancers.

The event was proudly hosted by our instructors from LindyHopSG with the appearance of the spectacular Swedish dancers of The Harlem Hotshots. Stay tuned for more news of our club's activities
